OOPS, Paint Drips on Carpet

by Rob D
(Knoxville, Tn)

As careful as I am when painting, invariably I get a few paint spatters or drips on the carpet.
As long as it isn't a major spill, its better to let the drips dry where they fall. Later you can go back and with a sharp scissors, trim off the carpet fibers along with the drip.

It works!

This is sure better than smearing paint into an even bigger mess trying to clean it up with a damp sponge.
Just don't clip off more of the carpet than you need to.
