This Lux thermostat is an asset to your home

Consider a Lux thermostat to keep your home an even temperature without having to monitor it whether it is summer or winter.

If you think about how many times in a day you check your thermostat to “move it up a notch” or turn the heat down at night, it might make your life just a bit easier (and who doesn’t need that??) to install a programmable thermostat.

A programmable thermostat is capable of changing the temperature inside your house several times in a day without touching it. You probably don’t need to change the temperature more than a couple times but if, for example, every day you get up at 6am then leave the house at 8am and return at 2 pm then go to bed at 10pm; you don’t need the house to maintain a 72 degree temperature.
Why pay for heating an empty house?

With a programmable thermostat, you can set it to be at 72 when you get up, drop down to 68 when you leave at 8, then warm back up to 72 upon your return at 2 and drop down to a comfortable sleeping temperature at bedtime.

customisable counter

Lux thermostat A Lux thermostat will take care of changing the temperature for you and that will help your energy savings. The Lux TX9000 thermostat was rated number 1 by Consumer Reports and is Energy Star approved on top of it. It has a large, very easy to read touch screen and has a filter replacement indicator.

If you’ve yet to install a programmable thermostat, you can find one of these for less than $75 . I think you’ll find it money well spent.

Think about adding a water heater blanket on your gas or electric water heater for more energy savings.
