Home repair usually involves procrastination on the homeowners part mostly because we don’t feel comfortable doing things that we don’t do on a regular basis.
Personally I have done more repairs to our home that I care to admit. It’s usually because of something that I did to cause the damage but I do have four small kids and they can be destructive at times.
Most of the repairs don’t take much time and don’t require a special set of skills or tools although some do require you to rent or buy tools for a specific repair job. I am going to try and cover most minor home repairs in these pages and the bigger repairs will have links to better sources than I. If you're thinking about the tools you'll need to do some of these repairs.

Now it's your turn to release your inner handyman and fix some of those little annoyances that have bugged you for months or years. You’ll feel great when you’re done and you’ll have saved a lot of money that would have gone to the repairman’s vacation fund.
Are you ready? Then let’s get to it…

Planning is important and if you don't have the tools or materials, you can pick them up on the way home from work or a short run to the hardware store.
Worst case scenario, call a handyman. They're typically less expensive than tradesmen and do a lot more stuff for you.Okay that being said let's fix up your home so you can do more fun things like fishing or going out to dinner with your wife.
